HomeMemory
Editorial Standards
The standards every HomeMemory guide is held to — research, sourcing, corrections, and what we refuse to do.
This page describes the standards every HomeMemory guide is held to. It is published because a standard that cannot be inspected is not a standard.
Research and sourcing
- Specifications are attributed to manufacturer documentation
- Where a figure is an estimate or a range, it is labelled as such
- We do not present third-party claims as our own measurements
- Sources are listed at the end of each guide where applicable
Corrections
When a specification or figure is wrong, we correct it and note the change. Silent edits erode the record that makes a guide worth citing.
If you spot an error, email [email protected] with the page and the correct figure.
What we will not do
- Rank products in exchange for payment
- Publish sponsored content disguised as editorial
- Fabricate prices, ratings, or test results
- Scrape retailer websites for product data
- Accept free products in exchange for coverage
Review cadence
Guides are dated and reviewed when specifications or availability change. An undated guide is an unreliable guide.
