Steam and agitation remove more than sprays alone. Chemistry supplements, it does not replace.
Heat for sanitation
Steam above 100°C sanitises. Cold mopping does not, regardless of the solution used.
Water tank and runtime
Larger tanks mean fewer refills, but add weight. Balance against how much floor you have.
Consumable cost
Pads, brushes and descaler add up. Check prices and availability before buying.
Surface compatibility
Steam damages some sealed wood and laminate. Check before using on your floors.
